Walter Segsworth, BSc.
Chairman

Walter Segsworth graduated from Michigan Tech in 1971 with a BSc degree in Mining Engineering. He has worked at many mines and properties in Canada and overseas and has managed three large Canadian mines. In 1990 he was appointed President and Director of Westmin Resources and led the operational and financial turnaround of that company, culminating in a significant expansion of the company's assets. Upon the takeover of Westmin by Boliden in 1998, Mr. Segsworth joined Homestake Mining Company of California where he was subsequently appointed President, Director and Chief Operating Officer and served until the merger with Barrick in early 2002. Under his direction, Homestake achieved record production, and operating costs were the lowest in 25 years. Mr. Segsworth is a director of two companies, all but Plutonic in the mining sector. He is past Chairman of both the Mining Associations of BC and Canada and was named BC's Mining Person of the year in 1996.




Donald A. McInnes
Vice-Chairman

Donald McInnes is the founder of Plutonic Power Corporation, a rapidly emerging British Columbian based green hydroelectric power development company. His background is in funding natural resource development through Canadian capital markets including the founding of Blackstone Ventures and Western Keltic Mines. In the last 18 months these companies have raised over $750 million in debt and equity. He serves on a variety of community and business association boards and is a frequent public speaker and contributor to public policy debate to both government and the public at large.




Phil Fontaine, B.A.
Director

Mr. Phil Fontaine is a dedicated and highly respected figure in Canada. He has been instrumental in facilitating change and advancement for First Nations people from the time he was first elected to public office as Chief, at the young age of 28. He is a proud member of the Sagkeeng First Nation in Manitoba and still plays an active role in the support of his community. In the early 1980's he was elected to the position of Manitoba Regional Chief for the Assembly of First Nations. When his term expired in 1991, he was elected Grand Chief of the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs where he served three consecutive terms. He played a key role in the development of Manitoba's Framework Agreement Initiative, in the defeat of the Meech Lake Accord, and signed an Employment Equity Agreement with 39 federal agencies. In 1997 he stepped onto the national stage where he was elected to the highest elected position in First Nations politics, National Chief of the Assembly of First Nations. He recently finished serving an unprecedented third term in office.

Mr. Fontaine has received many awards and honours for his work, including six honorary degrees and membership in the Order of Manitoba. He now owns and operates his own consulting business named Ishkonigan Inc.



R. Stuart (Tookie) Angus, LL.B
Director

Tookie Angus is an independent business advisor. He was most recently Managing Director - Mergers & Acquisitions for Endeavour Financial. Prior to joining Endeavour Financial, he was a partner at the Canadian law firm Fasken Martineau DuMoulin and headed that firm's Global Mining Group. For over 25 years, Tookie has focused on significant international exploration, development and mining ventures, and all aspects of their structuring and finance.

Tookie is also a director of Nevsun Resources Ltd., Bema Gold Corporation and Plutonic Power Corporation. He was a director of First Quantum Minerals Ltd. until June 2005 and resigned as a director of Canico Resource Corp. upon completion of a takeover by CVRD. He was Chairman of the Board of BC Sugar Refinery Limited.



David O'Brien, B.A.
Director

Since 2004 David O'Brien has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of Toronto Hydro Corporation. Toronto Hydro is Canada's largest municipally-owned electrical utility responsible for providing electricity to the City of Toronto, which represents 18.5% of the electricity consumers in the Province of Ontario. Prior to joining Toronto Hydro, Mr. O'Brien had extensive experience in municipal administration and the Ontario electricity industry. He has held the position of City Manager in a number of cities in Ontario, culminating with 10 years as City Manager in Mississauga. He then served as Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of Enersource Corporation, a diversified energy and technologies company serving residential and business customers in Mississauga. Mr. O'Brien served a six-month secondment to the Government of Ontario as Associate Deputy Minister and then Deputy Minister of Energy. Mr. O'Brien has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Windsor and serves on the Board of the Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System (OMERS).




William F. Lindqvist, Ph.D
Director

William Lindqvist received a Ph.D in Applied Geology from Royal School of Mines in London (1968), A BSc Economic Geology from the University of Adelaide (1965) and a B.E. in Mineral Engineering (1964) from Otago School of Mines. Dr. Lindqvist's career spans over 30 years with such companies as Goldfields Mining Corp, Newcrest Mining and Homestake Mining Company. Most recently, Dr. Lindqvist was Vice-President of Exploration with Homestake until the merger with Barrick Mining in 2002. His exploration experience covers North and South America, Eastern Europe, Indonesia, Mongolia and Australia. In addition to Plutonic Power, Dr. Lindqvist is also currently a director of Gallant Minerals Ltd, and consultant to Uruguay Minerals Exploration Inc.



Peter Flynn, Ph.D
Director

With a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Delaware, a Masters in Engineering from Berkley and a PhD from the University of Alberta, all in Chemical Engineering, Dr. Flynn has spent more than 30 years in the Canadian energy and engineering industry, with extensive experience in operations management,,business development and human resources. Currently a professor in the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Flynn holds the Poole Chair in Management of Engineers at the University of Alberta and oversees the Engineering Management program. He is also a director of the Electricity Balancing Pool of Alberta, where he chairs the Audit Committee and serves on the Human Resources and Compensation Committee. He is a past and founding director of Edmonton Power, now known as EPCOR, where he chaired the Human Resources and Compensation Committee and served on the Environmental Health and Welfare Committee. He serves on several non profit boards as well, including Capital Region Housing Corporation, which manages over 5000 units of low income housing in the greater Edmonton area; he chairs the Audit Committee of this Board. Dr. Flynn was the previously the President of Corod Industries, an affiliate of GE Canada, the President of CNG Fuel Systems, an affiliate of Nova Corporation, a Vice President of Nova Corporation, Edmonton Telephones and Sherritt Inc. Dr. Flynn has also penned a text on financial management for engineers.
